Better Business Bureau Torch Awards

The Developmental Disabilities Association is proud to announce that they are one of 8 finalists for the Better Business Bureau Torch Awards in the Green Award Category. Earlier this year, the Association also won the Recycling Council of British Columbia’s Mobi Award for Non-Profit Achievement in Excellence and Leadership in Environmental Stewardship. Other finalists for the BBB Torch Award include:

Each finalist was nominated due to their dedication to corporate social responsibility in addition to applying “green” initiative. The winner of this award will be announced on October 15th, 2009.
