Blogathon: Respitality Part 2

Respitality is an essential service for the Developmental Disabilities Association. Respitality is made up of the two words “Hospitality” and “Respite”, and it’s definition is more or less the sum of the two words. DDA’s respitality program allows parents take a much needed break from the often stressful life of raising their children in more than tiring circumstances. DDA solicits hotels, spas and restaurants that can offer time for families away from home at a relaxing location. This getaway is often what families need to rejuvenate themselves. We’re always looking for hotels, restaurants or spas that have services to donate to us. If you are interested or have any contacts that you think might be, please contact me at vtang@develop.bc.ca.
